1957 Isettacarro

1957 Isettacarro

Renzo Rivolta's Little Isetta, immediately attracted attention, and licenses were granted for the construction in several countries. Two models have been proposed - the small egg-shaped 50 centimeters Tourism narrow rear track and the type of truck, a commercial version with full width of the rear axle. The truck has been offered in several body styles, a truck, surrounded by trucks (vans commercial), a tilt-bed, or even a fire engine! It 'was a type of vehicle is very popular in Italy, and many manufacturers produce a type of variant. This included Iso themselves, who previously (1950-1953) produced a Isocarro type of motion. The truck Iso was higher than most, with its four-wheel layout, differential and rear axle with leaf springs good, tubes and solid frame. E 'was good for a load of 500 to 600 kg. The truck name Isetta was also used. This is an example of Isettacarro built under license in Spain by ISO Motor Italy, Madrid. In the late fifties, the company was associated with Iso-Borgward Espanola SA, German colleagues, and later changed his name to it. This car was a precious family member "of the family Pallas from its acquisition by new ones, but it was considered prudent to put in the hands of the club so that it is adequately supported. The move was regretted later, the car has been carefully restored without the originality that the family had made great efforts to maintain over the years. For the record, Mr Pallas states that the car should be gray, had two replacement lamps, should not have the badge on the front Iso Espana, should not have radial tires, the emblem on the steering wheel is 45 degrees outside, and now has a reverse light. The original interior has been preserved carefully removed and replaced by new ones. The wheel of origin is claimed to be the sole survivor.
